Thomas J. Power passed away on January 10th, 2022. He was born In Staten Island, New York on March 15,1963. The family moved to the Bronx where he attended St. Simon Stock. In 1972 the Power family relocated to Barnageeha, Darragh, Co. Clare, Ireland. It was here he began his love for motorbikes.When he graduated from St Flannan's College in Ennis, he was the first in his family to return to Staten Island. He went to work at the Depository Trust Company. He enjoyed working on, and restoring fast cars and motorcycles. He had a second job working security at Madison Square Garden where he was able to watch his New York Rangers play. Tom was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in his 20's, and when it progressed to being unable to walk he moved to Rockland County where his family were now living. He developed a new passion for fixing and restoring computers. He had a keen interest in politics and followed closely what was going on in government. He loved to engage in political conversations. His body was ravaged by Multiple Sclerosis but that did not define him. He continued to have an upbeat, quick witted personality. He is survived by his parents Elizabeth (Betty) & Francis (Frank) Power, his brother Michael, niece Julie, and nephew Adam. He was predeceased by his twin sister Eileen and his sister Clare. He will be missed by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends here in the United States, Ireland and England. At a future date he will be buried with his sister Clare in Ballyea, County Clare, Ireland.
