Thomas J. McQueeney

Thomas Joseph McQueeney of Pearl River, NY passed away on October 10, 2021.

Thomas was born on May 15,1937 in Manhattan, NY to Mary and Joseph McQueeney. He lived in the Bronx and graduated Cardinal Hayes High School in 1955. He proudly served in the US Army, Paratrooper, 11th Airborne Division from 1955-1958. Thomas worked as a Stationary Engineer, NYC Board of Ed for 30 years. He is survived by his loving wife Nora, married for 61 years; his children, Kevin of Pearl River, Jane Driscoll (Richard) of Portsmouth, and Carolyn Loughran (Terrence) of Pearl River; his adored grandchildren, Devin, Bailey, Maura, Maeve, Michael, Terrence II; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Joseph McQueeney, brother, James McQueeney and sister, Betty Walsh. The family would like to acknowledge special people: Dr. Arthur Appel, The Good Samaritan Hospital Cardiac Care Unit, doctors, nurses and caregivers for their kindness and professionalism. Visitation is Thursday 9 to 10 am on October 14, 2021 at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home followed by a Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
