Theresa (Hatton) O'Shea

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Theresa O’Shea.

Theresa was an extraordinary wife, mother and, grandmother. She lived until 80 and,  passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2023,  knowing she lived a full life and, was loved by many.

Terry was born on October 10, 1942 in the Bronx, NY, the only child born to Albert and Violet Hatton. From there she moved to Rockland County where she raised her beloved family in Pearl River, NY.

Terry was a talented artist and, loved to garden. She also loved to travel and had the chance to visit many places; Italy being her favorite destination. She enjoyed the beach, theater, reading and playing Bingo. She loved watching movies, especially the classics. Terry was an active member of the Church Choir and, also loved to make Rosary beads for her local church events.

She had many beloved friends who will remember her for her funny, feisty and, loving ways. Theresa was a member of several senior groups that took her on trips all over NYC, PA and local areas.

She was always there to help anyone in need and, was the strongest and bravest person to so many. She worked for over 25 years in the banking industry in NYC and, then moved on to her second career as a Caregiver for the handicapped.

Theresa is pre-deceased by her husband, Patrick O’Shea. She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer and Susan. In addition her two sons-In law, James and Carlos and, her beloved and only grandchild, Vincent Patrick. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and friends.
