Tara (Madden) McKeegan of Blauvelt, NY died on April 29, 2020. She was 46 years old.

Tara was born on March 26, 1974 in Bronx, NY to Thomas and Bridget (Bridie) Madden. She graduated from Pearl River High School in 1992 and earned a Bachelor degree in English from Fairfield University in 1996. Tara lived in Blauvelt, NY for the past 10 years with her husband Raymund. Tara formerly worked as a Senior Vice President at Bratskeir & Company in New York, NY. She was a dedicated volunteer for the Transplant Support Organization and Rockland Organ Donation Alliance.

Tara will be remembered for being a loving wife, a devoted daughter, an amazing sister, and the world’s best aunt. Tara lived life to the fullest and showed us all what is possible with her courage, perseverance, and strength. Anyone lucky enough to know Tara knew how much she loved to spoil her nieces and nephews. They will forever aspire to live like her. Tara loved with all of her heart and soul, she showed kindness and grace, even in the most challenging times, and she never gave up when things got hard. She gave so much of her time to organ donation and awareness, which were close to her heart. Tara taught us to embrace whatever is thrown our way, to fight for what you believe in, and to just breathe.

Tara is survived by her husband Raymund McKeegan, her parents Thomas and Bridie Madden, her mother-in-law Elizabeth McKeegan, her sisters Erin Madden, Fiona (Darren) Robinson, and Ann (Andrew) Vergine, brother-in-laws Noel and Robert, sister-in-laws Stephanie (Sean) Gormley and Lorraine McKeegan. Her pride and joy, her nieces and nephews: Maeve & Colin McNulty, Braeden, Cian, & Isla Robinson, Caoimhe McKeegan, Orlagh McKeegan, Oisin Gormley, Conor & Kerry McKeegan as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. She will be dearly missed.
