Regina Rose Mingo

Regina Rose Mingo (nee Murphy) of  Nanuet, NY passed away peacefully in her home on September 1, 2023. 
Regina was born September 11, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to Mary (Conway) and John Murphy. She  was the youngest of eight children. She graduated from St. Edmunds High School in Brooklyn.
Regina married Franzo Mingo in 1959 and in 1965 they moved from Brooklyn to Nanuet. 
Regina retired from the Benefits department at Orange and Rockland Utilities in 1993. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her husband and being part of the Nanuet 2 Senior’s Club and St. Anthony Nanuet Senior’s Club. 
Regina is predeceased by her husband, Franzo, her son, Vincent, her parents John and Mary Murphy and her siblings.  She is survived by her children, Patricia (Michael), Regina and Laura (Joseph); her grandchildren, Kathryn (Connor), Michael, Christine, Andrew and her many nieces and nephews. She loved seeing her great grandchildren, Grace, Eddie and Rowan. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Anthony Church, Nanuet. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.  Visiting is Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
