Michael J. Buckley

Michael Buckley of New City, NY formerly of Pearl River, NY passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.  He was 73.
Mike was born May 19, 1948 in Bronx, NY to John and Theresa (Vaughan) Buckley 
Mike worked as an independent trucker for Dasher Messenger for 35 years.
He attended Albertus Magnus High School and was a graduate of Pearl River High School Class of 1966.
Mike enjoyed sports, a good glass of wine and music. He was a member of the Studebaker Car Club.  
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Reid and husband, Robert and  sister, Diane Waitman and his many  nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his devoted friends, Philip and Mary Ann Roventini. He is predeceased by his father, John (2005) and mother, Theresa (2016).
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont, NY.  Visiting is Friday from 5:00 To 8:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
