Mary Ann (Puzziferri) Luccketti

Mary Ann Luccketti a long time resident and Registered Nurse of Pearl River, NY, passed away April 1, 2021, at her home. She was 96.
Mrs. Luccketti was born November 24, 1924 in Bronx, NY to Michael and Margherita Di Battista Puzziferri.
She was educated in Bronx, NY and graduated from William Howard Taft in 1943. She earned a degree in nursing from Rockland State Hospital Nursing School in 1945.
Mary Ann worked as a operating room supervising nurse for Rockland State Hospital in Orangeburg, NY. She worked at the hospital for 35 years before retiring in 1979.
On July 6, 1946 she married Nicholas Luccketti at The Church of The Sacred Heart in Bronx, NY. Mrs. Luccketti lived in Pearl River for 78 years. Before that she lived in Bronx, NY from 1924 to 1943.
Mary Ann will be remembered as a devoted care giver to her patients and family, avid gardener and a life long Yankee fan.
Upon her retirement she volunteered for many years at The Rockland State Hospital plant nursery and regularly attended a homemakers club.
She is survived her son, Nicholas M. Luccketti of Williamsburg, VA and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased her husband, Nicholas A. Luccketti (2007), brother, Philip Puzziferri (1990), brother, Nicholas Puzziferri (1999), brother, Nicholas Puzziferri(1999), sister Lena Cirilli (1999), brother, John Puzziferri (2001) and brother Vito Puzziferri (2013).
Visiting will be 3PM to 6PM Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
A Mass of Christian will be celebrated 10AM Wednesday April 7, 2021 at St. Aedan R.C. Church. Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
