Marguerite Hoermann of Pearl River, NY passed away after a long courageous battle with AD in her home on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was 88.
Mrs. Hoermann worked for Chromalloy in Orangeburg, NY for 17 years retiring in 1995.
Marge was born January 17, 1932 in Union City, NJ to Henry and Violette (Hirschi) Bannert.
Locally, she was a member of Nauraushaun Presbyterian Church in Pearl River, where she sang in the choir for many years and an active member of Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, NY, where she assisted and performed.
Marge will be remembered for her sweet temperament and great love of her family, in particular her two grandchildren whom she called “treasures”.
She is survived by her son, Karl (Claire) of Stony Point, NY; granddaughter, Kirsten (Dave) Das of Wayne, NJ;
grandson, Erik of Nanuet, NY; niece, Suzanne (Mickey) Doyle of Dumont, NJ; nephew, Edward Hoermann of Ohio and cousin, Jane (Doug) Graham of Boonton, NJ. She is predeceased by her husband, Karl in 2004, sisters, Jeanne Girovasi and Alice Harris.
Visiting will be Friday from 3:00 to5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery, Sparkill, NY.
