Margaret (Peg) C. (Mitchell) Baccaglini

Margaret C. Baccaglini (Peg) of Nanuet , NY passed away on January 18, 2020.  She was 93.

Peg was born August 19, 1926 in Bronx, NY, to Francis and Marguerite Mitchell.  She was a graduate of Aquinas High School.

Mrs. Baccaglini started her career as a representative for the New York Telephone Company, became a homemaker and raised her five children then transitioned into sales at Lord & Taylors.

Locally, she was a parishioner of St. Anthony Church in Nanuet since 1959.  She was a member of the Nanuet Seniors, Past-president of both the Mothers’ Club at St. Anthony Grammar School and Albertus Magnus High School.  She volunteered for Birthright and currently was a volunteer at United Hospice of Rockland.

Peg will be remembered for  her sharp wit, sense of humor, being very community oriented and a great friend.

She is survived by her children, John, Pat Bonomolo (Peter), Bill Jr., Meg Kolb and Gerard; eight granddaughters and two great granddaughters. She is predeceased by her husband, Bill (2018).

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday, January 25, 2020 at St. Anthony R.C. Church, Nanuet.  Burial is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Visiting is Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
