Lambros Stamoulis

Lambros Stamoulis, a long-time resident of Brooklyn Heights, NY died on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 after a long illness. He was 80.

He was born on June 1, 1941, in Chios, Greece to Giorgio and Katerina Stamoulis.

Lambros was a restauranteur for The Pierrepont House in Brooklyn Heights before retiring from the restaurant business in 1983 after 5 years of ownership.

He received a Master of Engineering from the NY Institute of Technology and a Master of Computer Science from Iona College. He went on to become an Institutional Researcher at Iona College and later at the College of New Rochelle until he retired in 2017.

Lambros lived in Brooklyn Heights for the past 50 years with his wife June. He was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Brooklyn.

He will forever be remembered for his kind and loving nature towards his family and friends, his extended family. He was an avid Cosmos and later Red Bulls Soccer fan. He was a beloved Husband, Uncle and Nono (Godfather in Greek).

He is survived by his beloved wife, June, his sister-in-laws - Janet Witherell and Alexa Stamoulis, his nephew - Steven Schaarschuch and his nieces - Dawn Lamond, Katerina Stamoulis and Xanthi Stamoulis as well as many grand nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Giorgio and Katerina, as well as his only brother, Leonidas.

A viewing will be held on Friday December 3rd, 2021 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Wyman Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue Pearl River, NY 10965.  A prayer service will be held at 11:30AM.  Burial will follow at Germonds Cemetery, New City, NY.
