Joseph C. Tasch

We are saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Charles Tasch of Pearl River, NY formerly of the Bronx, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Joseph was born on October 29, 1950 to Charles and Anne Tasch. He married the love of his life Mary Ellen on November 13, 1988 at St. Barnabas Church in the Bronx. Joe served in the US Navy right after high school from 1969 - 1971 before starting his lifelong career at Con Edison in NYC retiring in 2012.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, daughter,Christina and his soon-to-be son-in-law, Joseph Vaccari. He is also survived by his brother, Donald, sister-in-law, Annette Tasch, brothers-in-law, Michael and Thomas Dongarra, sisters-in-law Linda and Peghi Dongarra, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Joe was predeceased by his son,Joseph Charles Tasch, Jr., parents, Charles & Anne Tasch, brothers, Kenneth and Robert Tasch, mother-in-law, Louise Dongarra, father-in-law, Anthony Dongarra and brother-in-law, Anthony Dongarra.

Visiting will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY. Prayer service and burial will be 11:00am Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Frederick W. Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in New Hempstead, NY.
