James T. Corcoran

James Thomas Corcoran sadly passed away on Tuesday July 19th, 2022 in Georgetown, Delaware where he and his wife Deborah Corcoran resided.

The son of John and Eileen Corcoran, he was born on April 4th, 1959 in the Bronx and grew up in Orangeburg, N.Y. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend who was loved by all.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Deborah Corcoran; daughter Keri Brogan and son in law Christopher Brogan; daughter Kathryn Berckman and son in law Zachary Berckman; grandchildren who adored their Papa including Connor and Riley Brogan and Avery and Charlotte Berckman; parents John and Eileen Corcoran; sister Caroline and David Knapp; brother Kevin and Elizabeth Corcoran; mother in law Dorothy Satenberg; brother in law Michael Satenberg; brother in law Matthew and Jaqueline Satenberg; as well as many wonderful uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

James was a retired automotive sales manager for Volvo and Ford Motor Company. He loved life including his motorcycle adventures, basketball games, an afternoon at the beach and most of all his family. He will be sorely missed by all of those lives he touched.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 29th from 3-6 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc., Pearl River, N.Y.

Mass will be celebrated at Saint Margaret’s Church in Pearl River on Saturday July 30th at 10 a.m.  The burial will be held at Saint Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
