Charles L Miller

Charles “Sonny” Miller of Pearl River, NY passed away peacefully on March 20th, 2023 at age 89 alongside his daughter and granddaughter. Charlie was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 2nd, 1933 to Charles and Elizabeth Miller. 

Charlie worked for many years as a printer at Lederle Pharmaceuticals and retired in 1993. 

Charlie will be remembered for his immense love for his daughter and granddaughter whom he often spoiled. Charlie had a great love of animals so much so if you’d see him at shoprite you would see him buying more bird feed for the birds that lived in his yard than real food for himself. 

Charlie lived in the same apartment building in Pearl River for over 30 years. During his time there he had made friends with many tenants as they moved in and out of the building. He had watched many of the kids that lived there grow up and will always take great pride in being such a helpful and caring neighbor. 

Charlie is survived by his daughter Cynthia Westbrook,  granddaughter Haley Brennan, best friend Racheal Hadeler, sister Joan (Miller) Morreale, Nieces Leslie Morreale and Elaine Selonke, and lastly his beloved cat Tomkitty. 

Calling hours are Friday, March 24, 2023 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY
