Catherine T. Murray

Catherine Murray of Chestnut Ridge, New York  passed away on October 9, 2021.  She was a resident of St. Dominic’s Group Home for 33 yrs.  She has lived at the Balmoral Drive location for the past 18 years.  She will be missed by her house mates and staff. 
Ms. Murray was born on November 7, 1966 to John P. Murray (deceased) and Nora Murray.  Before becoming a resident of St. Dominic’s Group Home, she lived with her family in Yonkers, New York.  Ms. Murray is survived by her mother, Nora Murray and her siblings, Dennis Murray (Linda), Margaret Flandera, Noreen Clerkin (Eugene), John P. Murray, Jr., Pamela Hyland (John); and Kevin Murray.  Ms. Murray has five nephews; Christopher Murray (Lisa), Danny Murray (Nicole); Michael Clerkin (Angelica), John Clerkin (Geanina) and Paul Rosato (Marisa).  Ms. Murray has four nieces; Christina Green (Billy), Nicole Dugan (John), Megan Hyland and Grace Murray.  Ms. Murray has four grandnephews (Joey & Brody Murray,  Conor Murray, Liam Green, and six grandnieces (Gabriella Dugan, McKayla & Madison Murray, Keira Green, Eliana Clerkin and Anastasia Clerkin).  
Our Family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to St. Dominic’s and their staff for the wonderful care and love they gave Catherine during her time there, especially in her last days. 
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY  10965.  A funeral mass will be held on October 14, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Aedan’s Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, NY  10965. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Queens, New York.
