Catherine M Keahon

Catherine M. Keahon of Nanuet, New York, Longtime Resident died on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, New York. She was 86 yrs old.

Mrs. Keahon worked as a secretary for Rockland Psychiatric Center, Orangeburg, New York. She was with the company before retiring to raise her family.

Mrs. Keahon was born June 18, 1935 in Suffern, NY in Rockland County to John and Mary Novack-Burns.  She was educated in Haverstraw, NY and graduated from Immaculate Conception Catholic School.  Mrs. Keahon lived in Nanuet, NY for 61 years.  Locally she was a Parishioner of St. Anthony's Church.

Mrs. Keahon will be remembered for her faith and for the love and devotion to her family, especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

She is survived by Noel Keahon, husband, Nanuet, NY; Kathleen (Dan) Sutherland, Daughter, Albany, NY; Delores (Steve) Keahon-Pagels, Daughter, Suffern, NY; Jessica (Jose) Santiago, Granddaughter, Stony Point, New York; Alexandra Sutherland (Hunter Boyd), Granddaughter, Connecticut; Steven Pagels, Jr., Grandson, Suffern, NY; Cheyenne Sampson, Great Granddaughter, Stony Point, NY; Camilo Santiago, Great Grandson, Stony Point, NY; Donna Keahon, Daughter, Spring Valley, NY; and a brother and sisters along with many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by John and Mary Burns, Parents and Brothers and Sisters.

Calling hours are Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY.  The funeral is Monday, January 10, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, Nanuet, NY. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
