Bernadette Kinsella

Bernadette Kinsella (Bernie) of Pearl River, NY a resident for 30 years, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side, on Thursday, March 19, 2020.  She was 77.

Bernadette was born August 21, 1942 in Co. Leitrim, Ireland to William and Mary Kate Duignan.

She worked as a nurse for The Dominican Sisters in Blauvelt, NY until retiring in 2014.

On April 7, 1969 she married Laurence and enjoyed 51 years of marriage together.

Bernie was a devoted parishioner of St. Margaret Church where she will be missed by her 9 o’clock friends.

Bernie will be remembered for her kindness to others, her selfless nature and her unique sense of humor. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Laurence; her four children, Niamh of Patchogue, NY, Paul (Leah) of Tampa, FL, Niall (Kirsten) of Montvale, NJ and Laurence (Delaney) of Alexandria, VA and five grandchildren, Conan, Lauren (and father Ron), Owen, Lilah and Patrick.
