Beatrice Florence (DeVita) Badolato

Beatrice Florence Badolato of Pearl River, NY passed away on July 14, 2020. She was 93.

Beatrice was born October 19, 1926 in New York, NY to Joseph DeVita and Elizabeth McKeever.  She married her beloved husband Louis D. Badolato on May 14,  1950.  Beatrice lived in Pearl River, NY for the past 22 years.  She previously resided in West Palm Beach, FL and Pomona, NY. 

Mrs. Badolato worked at beloved  Rockland County restaurants such as the Clarksville Inn and Romolo’s.   She was a member of various church groups, senior clubs, and the Red Hat Society.

She will be remembered for her amazing compassion, kindness, and excellent sense of humor.  Beatrice had had a wonderful zest for life, with strong focus on family, friends, pets, entertainment, and a fashion that rivaled Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Beatrice is survived by her children, Louis Badolato of New Jersey, Eugene Badolato (Lizanne) of Thiells, NY and Hope Loughran (John) of Pearl River, NY.  She is also survived by her sister, Lorraine Agha (Farooq) of Arizona, grandchildren, Ashley Loughran, John Loughran and Mark Badolato, along with her nieces, nephews, and cousin.  She is predeceased by her husband Louis Badolato (2011), son, Joseph Badolato (1962), sister, Lillian (2009), brother, Salvatore “Red” DeVita (1994).

Visiting will be held Sunday July 19, 2020 from 3-6 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.  100 Franklin Ave. Pearl River, NY.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Monday July 20, 2020 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Tappan, NY. Burial will follow at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY.
