Fairport - Died May 26, 2019. Survived by his wife of 48 years Susan, nee Evans, daughters Amy L. Andrews (Matthew Mendler) and Karen L. Andrews (Corin Skidds), grandchildren Nathan and Audrey Mendler, brother Ralph (Hetty), brother-in-law David G. Evans (Kimberley), many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by brother Harold (Ellen) and sister Helga.

Walter was an Army veteran, received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester and worked for many years at Xerox Corporation.

A private graveside service, officiated by the Rev. Susan Shafer was held at White Haven Memorial Park.
