Robert Peter Shand Jr. of Spring Valley, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was 63.
Bob worked as a pharmaceutical operator for Lederle Labs in Pearl River, NY before retiring.
Bob was born May 7, 1955 in Nyack, NY to Robert P. and Margaret Shand. He grew up in Pearl River and lived in Spring Valley for the past 28 years.
Locally, he was a member of the Pearl River Hook and Ladder Co. 1.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Schnee of Spring Valley; son, Robert; daughter, Stephanie Monteforte; grandchildren, Amelia, Oliver, Emma and Zoey; mother, Margaret Shand and sister, Diane Shand Bourkney. He is predeceased by his father, Robert and brother, Pat.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Friday at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at Highview Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. Visiting is today, Thursday, January 17th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
