Michael George Lang

PEARL RIVER, NY.  Michael George Lang passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Colorado Springs, CO.  He was born on October 8, 1981 to Kenneth M. and Susan A. Lang.  He was a 1999 graduate of Pearl River High School, a Graduate of the United States Military Academy, Class of 2004, and a graduate of Penn State where he earned his MBA in 2012.  He proudly served in the United States Army from 2004 to 2009 attaining the rank of Captain.  He deployed to Iraq during the surge with the 4th Infantry Division, 4th Brigade, 2-12 Infantry Regiment.  After separation, he was employed by Hess Corporation for which he was assigned to Equatorial Guinea, Africa.  Upon his return, he located in Houston, TX.  Michael loved his years on the Pearl River High School Ice Hockey team.  He enjoyed hiking, skiing, cooking, and traveling around the world. Michael is survived by his loving parents, Ken and Sue, his brothers, Stephen (Jessica) and Thomas (Kelly), his grandparents, George and Ethel Alberts, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the West Point Association of Graduates, Bldg 698, Mills Road, West Point, NY 10996.
