Marta "Bobbie" Russell

Marta “Bobbie” Russell of Pearl River, NY, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019, surrounded by her sons.  She was 85.
Mrs. Russell worked for central administration for the Nanuet School District until her retirement. After her retirement she became the clerk of the board at the Nanuet Public Library.   
Marta was born June 30, 1933 in New York, NY to Candido and Milagros (De Los Reyes) Hernandez. 
She graduated from the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan and attended City College. 
Bobbie was a devoted parishioner of St. Aedan Church.  She will be remembered for her love of singing and music and singing with Nat King Cole.
She is survived by her children; Richard Russell and wife, Cynthia Bydlinski and Jim and wife, Jeanette and grandchildren, Aidan, Owen and Grace. She is also survived by her many loving neighbors and friends. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Visiting is Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
