Kathleen A. Gavigan

Kathleen Gavigan of Pearl River, NY passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018.  She was 83.
Kathleen worked as an accounts payable clerk for Arnold Bakery in Greenwich, CT for 15 years before retiring in 1988.
Kathleen was born August 9, 1935 in Bronx, NY to David and Mary O’Sullivan.
She was educated in the Bronx and graduated from Aquinas High School in 1951 at the age of 16. 
On December 26, 1959 she married Thomas Gavigan at St. Jerome R. C. Church in Bronx, NY.
Locally, she was a parishioner of St. Margaret  R. C. Church in Pearl River for 43 years. 
Mrs. Gavigan will be remembered for her love of the Jersey shore, reading, solving crossword puzzles and the NY Giants. Most importantly she will be remembered for her devotion to and love for her family.  
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, Thomas (Maureen)Gavigan, Maureen (Richard) DeMartini, Patrick (Rose) Gavigan and Barbara (Gregory) Fein and her treasured grandchildren, Luke, Kyle and Grace.  She is predeceased by her brothers, Jack and David and sister, Maureen. 
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:15 am Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at St. Margaret R. C. Church, Pearl River.  Burial will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.  Visiting is Monday, December 3, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
