James E Griffin

James E. Griffin of Pearl River, NY passed peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at home surrounded by his family.  He was 84 years old.

Jim as he was affectionately known was born March 5, 1935 to Louise and John Griffin.  

Jim proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1956-1958 stationed on a Nike Missile Base-Fort Niagara. Jim was attached to the Demolition and Armory Units.

Jim spent over 50 plus years managing several businesses, specializing in security operations in conjunction with many police departments.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Annette; son, Craig; daughter, Yvonne and several nephews and nieces.  He is predeceased by his parents, brother, and sister.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:00 AM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Sisters of St. Dominican Chapel, 496 Western Highway, Blauvelt, NY.
