Dennis Farrell Obituary

Dennis Farrell of Pearl River NY passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 after a brave battle with cancer. He was 63.

Dennis was a proud member of IATSE Stage Hands union Local 52 for over 10 years. He was the owner of the Hunter Village Inn for 25years where he made lifelong friends and memories.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to George and Margaret Darcy Farrell he was then raised in Richmond Hill. He moved to Pearl River in 1984 where he and his loving wife, Mary Coyle Farrell spent 34 years of marriage, here they raised their loving daughter, Melissa Farrell McDonagh who was his pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Melissa and son in law, Peter McDonagh; three beautiful grandsons, Colin, 11, River, 9 and Fionn 6; brother, George Farrell and sister, Christine Farrell Morris. He is predeceased by his sister, Margaret.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Saturday at St. Aedan R. C. Church, Pearl River. Visiting is today, Friday, January 18th from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
